In collaboration with Arabesca, one of Croatia’s leading coffee producers, Zagreb’s vocational schools successfully launched and completed an innovative educational project titled “Štikleci iz šalice”. This unique project brought together students and teachers from various fields including health, food technology, economics and more, with the aim of gaining knowledge and hands-on experience. Each school worked on a coffee-themed project related to its specific area of study and all projects were presented at a special event held at Tesla school on International Coffee Day.

Through regular visits to Arabesca, students had the opportunity to learn about the coffee production process and engage with industry experts. The project stood out as an example of modern education, earning a gold medal for outstanding contribution to education at the AGRO ARCA fair. Around 23 teachers and 80 students participated, learning from each other and gaining invaluable skills for their future careers, while Arabesca achieved yet another goal from its structured corporate social responsibility plan.
